Another big day, another big event. Green Somethings is joining hands with Tatsat - a socially concious store once again on the World Environment Day (WED), June 5th 2009. We're going a step forward by declaring the entire weekend followng June 5th as the 'Green Weekend'.
During June 5-7th, Tatsat will house a wide assortment of green or eco-friendly products some of which will be launched formally on June 5th. Promoting a greener
lifestyle to its customers, the Tatsat & Green Somethings team will be introducing a variety of
green products to suit everyone's desires. Given the occasion, a lot of emphasis will be thrust upon the Green Somethings pots-n-plants. Not only will we offer these for purchase but also educate people on the benefits of keeping plants in their homes and offices and the points to consider when keeping these plants around them.
Tatsat in association with Literacy India will also house an assortment of photo exhibits called 'Haree Bharee' showcasing the theme of green livelihoods- a story narrating the happy marriage of two causes, environment and livelihood. The photo exhibits will showcase a paper recycling unit where women of Gurgaon produce recycled paper products.
Other
products will include a range of Elephant poo paper desk accessories from the
much adored Haathi Chaap, handmade bags, ceramic, glass and stone pottery
and natural personal care products.
